Prince Harry will be visiting his home country for the second time now, after the demise of Prince Philip. He will be attending a ceremony honouring his late mother, Princess Diana, where Harry and Prince William will be seen unveiling her statue, on what would be her 60th Birthday. Late Princess Diana’s statue unveiling will take place on July 1 and her sons Prince William and Prince Harry will be present together at the event. According to a report, William and Harry might reconcile after paying tribute to their late mother.

According to a report by The Telegraph, via Page Six, Prince William and Prince Harry might reconcile after paying tribute to their late mother as a private meeting will be held between the siblings. A source in the report revealed that The Duke of Cambridge and The Duke of Sussex will be “putting on a brave face for the event like they did at the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral". The source said that William and Harry “both know it is not about them but remembering the late princess."

As per the report, the event honouring Princess Diana will be low-key, where the ‘beautiful’ and ‘informal’ memorial will be revealed. The event is taking place at the Kensington Palace Gardens where William and Harry will be gathering with immediate family. The report mentioned that Diana’s brother Earl Spencer and sisters Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Lady Jane Fellowes will be attending the event. According to the report, The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton and Prince Charles, Princess Diana’s ex-husband will not be attending. Reportedly, Middleton was cut from the guest list due to the COVID-19 protocols.

For the unversed, Prince William and Prince Harry had commissioned the statue to be installed as a tribute to their beloved mother. The statue has been sculpted by Ian Rank-Broadley and it will be installed in the Sunken Garden of Kensington Palace. Rank-Broadley is known for his work behind Queen Elizabeth's image that has been used to decorate all the British coins since 1998.
